Master of Arts (Biblical Languages and Exegesis)

Engage the Bible in its original languages—deeply, faithfully, and with purpose.

At a Glance

The Master of Arts (Biblical Languages and Exegesis) (MABLE) is designed for students who want to build a strong foundation in both Old and New Testament studies while specializing in biblical Hebrew and Greek. You’ll learn from experienced scholars and ministry practitioners as you develop advanced skills in biblical translation, exegesis, and theological research.

Whether you’re preparing for teaching, Bible translation, or further academic study, this program equips you with the tools to handle Scripture with depth and precision.

The MABLE is also excellent preparation for doctoral work—graduates have gone on to PhD programs at institutions such as McMaster University and the University of Cambridge.

5 YEAR BA + MA PATHWAY

I have studied the Scriptures more slowly than ever before. Approaching Scripture at this pace has brought so many "aha" moments. My professors have been engaging and focused on student learning as well as personal and ministry integration.
