The Master of Christian Ministries (MCM) is designed for those already engaged in ministry who are looking to take their next step in growth and effectiveness. This program meets you where you’re at—building on your current experience and equipping you with deeper knowledge and skills tailored to your ministry context.

Ministry Partnership Award

We believe finances shouldn’t stand in the way of your calling.

The Ministry Partnership Award is a unique funding model that brings together students, their churches, and Briercrest in a shared commitment to ministry training. Through this three-way partnership, each party contributes one-third of the tuition cost—making graduate theological education significantly more affordable.

This award is available to students enrolled in the Master of Divinity and Master of Christian Ministries programs.

To apply, simply complete and submit the Ministry Partnership Award Application Form.

Length of the Program

The program requires 42 credit hours and can typically be completed in 2-3 years.

Admissions Requirements

  • bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 2.5 from an accredited institution is required.
  • Degrees from non-accredited institutions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

  • If you are 28 years or older and do not have an undergraduate degree, you may still be eligible for admission as a mature student.

  • Mature students can begin by completing the Certificate of the Seminary, which can be applied toward the MCM degree.
